4-3 Rights Not Assigned
PROBLEM: Original install and NetSetup done by supervisor. After user log-in, user clicks on icon and gets Error # 75 Rights Not Assigned to Mcwin.
SOLUTION: Check Novell rights and assign "read & write" rights if not done. To do so, go to a DOS prompt, and go to the MCWIN folder on the network (e.g., F:\Mcwin\User). Then type "rights" and see what rights have been assigned. As a minimum, "(R) May Read from File" and "(W) May Write to File" need to be assigned. If they are not present, assign them with the Novell "Syscon" program, exit program and log in as the user and see if program loads without an error. Windows NT or 2000 servers use Windows Explorer, right click Properties and Security tab to assign "read & write" rights to MCWIN and ALL NETWORK USER folders.
