Use Smart Fix to inoculate users from possible DLL conflicts. If you get an error message, before calling tech support, apply a quick and easy Smart Fix that corrects most common DLL conflicts problems. Just run Sfix.exe or Sfix2.exe to automatically copy all MCWIN folder *.DLL and *.VBX files into a problem PC or workstation's User folder, turn off the power and restart. Then test to be sure your problem has been fixed!
A) Local: Sfix2.exe - Using Windows Explorer, go into the MCWIN folder and double click SFIX2.exe and follow instructions. If your problem is not fixed after a cold start, go into the MCWIN folder and e-mail and attach all *.txt files to support@smart-comp.com along with a complete description of your problem.
B) Network: Sfix.exe - From any workstation with a problem, right-click START button, left-click OPEN double-click PROGRAMS and then Mod Calc. Double-click the SMART FIX icon and follow instructions.
If problem persists go to the MCWIN folder and double click SFIX.exe and follow instructions. If error not fixed after a cold start, go to the MCWIN folder and e-mail and attach all *.txt files to support@smart-comp.com along with a complete description of your problem.
